Born and raised near Peterborough, Ontario, my story really started when I relocated to Canmore, Alberta. Flanked on all sides by the Rocky Mountains, Canmore is a mountaineering paradise, where I’ve worked as a certified Alpine Guide (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides), and as a consultant specializing in mountain safety and Rope Access (IRATA, SPRAT).
Many year racing road and track bicycles followed by an early stint in mountain bike racing led me to bikepacking, and my forte, dogpacking. I’ve travelled on my bike through several different countries, first with my dog Melan who passed away nearly five years ago, and now with Mira, who’s been dogpacking since she was three months old.
Now, we’re taking it to the next level. We’re exploring the most beautiful, most remote places across all seven continents, by bike, over the next six years. With our all-weather camping gear, filming equipment, and survival basics, we’re embarking on a journey like no other.
Join us down the road less travelled.
